For SMS DND (Do Not Disturb) blocking, users have 2 categories of preferences, fully-blocked and partially-blocked. In the fully blocked mode, all SMS categories are blocked. For a partially blocked mode, system allows customers to block one or more categories.

The categories of preferences include the following:

The Common Consent Gateway (CCG) would be connected to all VAS platforms and would be responsible for taking, storing and forwarding a consumer’s 2nd confirmation during a VAS subscription process. This solution is for activations done via any of the channels namely voice, SMS, USSD, Web/ WAP. Customer give his 2nd consent on CCG platform and CCG will log the 2nd consent, generate the unique CCG Id & send success/failure response back to the content partner with CCG ID for charging & service provisioning.
